Breakfast late night love wondering

First post is usually there to introduce myself, let others know why I'm here. What for.
And I'm not going to do that.
I'm Annie, that's all there is to know. Or at least for now. I believe that in time, after reading the posts (random posts, just about anything that's been happening) you'll get to know some part of me.

I just watched Breakfast at Tiffany's. I love this movie. Some may say that's it's just a simple classic love story. But it's not. It's something more. It's something that love stories in movies nowadays don't have. And that's me saying this. The romantic-comedies-lover, definitely romantic type person. So what has changed? Is love like this even possible? Or has it ever been possible? It seems today that people earlier were happier. There weren't divorces, fights about who earns more or cheating. Or at least that's exactly what I wrote. It SEEMS to be like that. How was it exactly? Were people as unhappy as some are today, but they just couldn't do anything? They had to just grit their teeth and go on with their lives how they were?

Agh, love love love. There's a quote, really dramatic one, that sums it up.
"Love, love love. And what is it good for? Absolutely nothing."
And no, it's not a very famous poet that wrote it or anything like that. It was in a series. Called "Skins" to be precise. Suprised? Well, you may be. But that's not the first time I realize that wisdom is all around us, we just have to listen carefully. You can learn something on every step you take, even if you don't think you would find something useful there. And I don't mean stuff that they can teach you at school. I mean life knowledge.
But even though we think we know everything, we make such dumb mistakes.

Rest in peace Audrey & George. You were truly amazing.

Sleep tight.
Yours,
Annie
